11. Olde Nola Cookery reviews
205 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby blueskies4tina
We ended up here doing a late 11pm dinner. I chose it for the “gluten free” options that the reviews said online. Don’t be confused by the menu. You are at the right place, first because it says “N’awlins” Cookery on the menu...but it says “NOLA” on google. Second, that menu looks nothing like gf. The crab cakes (appetizer) are gf, and the red fish. Also, something chicken and steak. I’d recommend the red fish. Also, when the server recommends the greens, definitely do that. They were fantastic. My partner had the fried shrimp and gave it a thumbs up also. Sit on the balcony. :)
10. Galatoire's 33 Bar & Steak reviews
215 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby MS P
Just a fantastic, classic New Orleans steak/seafood restaurant. I went there with my 15 year old son and they treated him like any other adult. The filets were fantastic, the crab cake app was unsurpassed by any other, the soufflé potatoes (not on the menu, you need to ask) were heaven and the ice cream Sunday with hazelnut praline topping was over the top. Would go here again in a flash. Service was impeccable, Candice, our server, knew the menu very well and made some perfect recommendations for both of us. Rashon also helped us very much and just kept telling us "call me if you need anything" over and over, both were just a pleasure. Got a glass of wine to go and took a walk on Bourbon Street for after dinner. Great restaurant, thanks for a really awesome experience Gallatoire's!!
9. NOLA Poboys reviews
908 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Chuckie S
Stumbled upon this place while walking around the French Quarter. Although it's on Bourbon Street, it's not in as well traveled area as other restaurants, but well worth the visit. I ended up visiting twice in one day. On my first visit I got the Pot Roast Sandwich, which I got to say, was one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. It lasted less than 5 minutes LOL. I went back later in the evening, this time with my girlfriend. We split an order of the fried shrimp. Although the space was a little bit too much for her, I absolutely loved it. The shrimp is cooked absolutely perfect nice and Crispy Crunchy on the outside tender in the middle.
8. Cafe Beignet reviews
311 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Reyna Martinez
Love this place! The location on Bourbon street specifically because we went to another location and didn't have the same experience. Drinks were great! Went there 2 times over the few days in town. Food is good although we went back tor the music and drinks. The live music just moved my soul. Great ambiance, great service, great band each time. The singer was the same but the rest of the band members changed. Music was still good. Bathrooms not very clean but everything else was great!
7. Oceana Grill reviews
739 Conti St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Larry Fugett
I have been to the French Quarters 4 times. I'm from Indiana. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner at numerous restaurants in the French Quarters throughout that time. Oceana has been the best "real" "Authentic ", Cajun food I've had. If you go, you won't be disappointed. I'd be prepared to spend 25-30 dollars per meal with tip and 2 appetizers. We were a family of 5 with an app and 3 alcoholic drinks, 3 soft drinks, great meals, and tip. Approximately $200 total.
However, we ate like Kings. Very good food.
6. Big Easy Daiquiris reviews
501 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Frank Agnello
My last trip to New Orleans back in April I ran into every traveler's worst nightmare and lost my wallet on Bourbon Street. When I realized it was gone my heart literally sank out of my chest. After re-tracing my steps for several hours, finding nothing, and losing complete hope I received a phone call from Nick the bartender at 501 Bourbon who called and told me that he recovered some of my wallet. It turned out that someone was attempting to use my cancelled credit card and Nick was able to recover some of my wallet (Business cards, Debit/Credit Cards). Nick was also a tremendous help giving me a great description of the person and believe it or not I was able to track down the person within the first 48 haha!
Nick is truly an asset to this establishment; his integrity and assistance truly shows there are awesome people out there!
5. Bourbon House reviews
144 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Rick Muniz
What more could a whiskey lover ask for?!?! We went here for New Year's Eve dinner. Although all reservations were booked and the wait for walk-ins was long, we were able to grab seats at the bar pretty quickly. As you would expect, the whiskey selection is pretty amazing. The bar staff was very attentive and friendly, engaging in conversation with us even though it was a busy night for them. The food was excellent as well, and reasonably priced for such a nice restaurant.
4. Galatoires reviews
209 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Michelle Chan
Was late to the game in making any reservation, therefore a larger group of 5 was hoping they'd have room for us on the main floor 'reserved' for walk-ins. Karen, the wonderful hostess, worked her magic and we didn't have to wait for too long. Our waiter, SKIP (otherwise known as chip to some), was absolutely accommodating, incredible and provided a wonderful supper service. Everything ordered from duck crepe, steak, crab au gratin, sides, fish and shrimp were incredible.
3. Clover Grill reviews
900 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Vincent Kong
We visited this place multiple times on our trip to New Orleans and enjoyed almost everything we ordered. The biscuits with gravy is delicious and rich. The sandwiches and burger are very satisfying. Onion rings and tater tots were wonderfully crisp and well cooked on the inside. The waffle when we had it unfortunately lacked crisp. The omelette was a hit; fluffy and buttery .
24hr opening times is a big plus and they were open all through Christmas too. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is retro and unpretentious. Prices are reasonable.
2. Desire Oyster Bar reviews
300 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Mel On
Went for the happy hour raw oysters and sat in the corner counter area in front of the grill. I enjoyed it enough that i ended up ordering a 1.5 dozen raw oysters. Most of the oysters were a decent size while a couple were nice and big - you can see that i like to soak them in Tabasco and lemon and then down the hatch! The big fella working the grill was nice enough to sneak in a sample of the grilled oyster, which was excellent as well. So, if you don't like raw, but you like oysters, you got something to look forward to here. Had a couple of drinks and an order of the meat pie and i was full and satisfied for the night!
1. Saints and Sinners reviews
627 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA, USAby Hailey Guernsey
Great environment, awesome staff. We had staff stop by and talk to us that wasn’t even our server. The food was wonderful, we were wanting something different other than the typical gumbo that seems to be offered everywhere. Our server recommended a few items and all were amazing. Will definitely return on our next NOLA trip.
